Fashion for the colder months
Yes thats right, I'm talking sweaters, boots, skinny jeans and lots of my favourite thing, rose gold!
Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons for fashion. Everyone loves running about in the sunshine in the warmer months, but for me, theres nothing better than being cosy in a thick sweater and some beautiful boots.
I did some serious sweater shopping this year, admittedly I have a lot of jumpers already but they were starting to show a little too much of my love, ie wear and tear, for my liking.
So off to the shops I went.
Now, I don't have a huge budget so I was planning on being a bit frugal and hunt around for the best jumpers for the best prices. Primark/Penneys was my first port of call but they weren't as impressive as normal, I did get a few things though.
No, it wasn't Primark, or any of the normal shops I rush straight to when the desire for new clothes strikes, as it does a little more often than I would like.
It was... Sainsburys! I wasn't even that aware that they did clothing. Yet here I was, running in to grab a few gluten free goodies, (which they are brilliant for by the way) when I spotted the most beautiful burnt orange jumper I'd ever seen. (pictured above)
After bolting over to it at the speed of light, leaving Tim standing in the cartoon dust cloud behind me, I grabbed it with my claws in desperate fear someone would take it from me. Thrilled I walked into the next isle, only to see this....
...so thick and sumptuous and in a rich cherry red I couldn't resist, and that soon made it to the checkout too.
I've been pairing them, and pretty much everything else I've been wearing, with some always chic rose gold nails courtesy of Top Shop hyperreal and Barry M (molten metals) and the surprisingly intricate rose gold jewellery from Primark, which I am completely obsessed with and have been wearing with everything
As much as I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, I wont be sad to say goodbye, at least for a while, to my sweaters, anytime soon.
